Fabric care - ironing

• Dry irons. Dry irons are the most basic ones and are typically quite inexpensive. 
• Steam irons. These irons create a smoother press and help remove wrinkles on cotton and linen fabrics. 
• Portable irons. This type of iron is for frequent travelers who want their clothes wrinkle-free and always presentable.
• A steamer can be used for traveling as well.

As a general rule, to prevent a garment becoming shiny when ironing, don't have the setting higher than the "wool" setting.
